Last September we conducted our first formal regional memorial ride. The concept of repeating this for 2026 was tabled at this year’s AGM and agreed upon unanimously.

It goes without saying that the route should again conclude at our memorial bench in Manston, but it is appropriate that it should also start in the West of our region, to give all members an opportunity to make the ride into something as special as it deserves to be.

This year the route has been simplified, with some of last year's stops removed.

We have numerous predetermined stops up to 30 minutes apart, allowing for the pace to suit individual needs. If the group becomes separated, there is no need to rush to catch up. Simply proceed to the next designated stop, where the ride will regroup.

It should also allow members to join the ride at their most convenient point.
